This lidded jar for preserved products has traditionally been used for condiments in Burgundy. Today, many uses are possible with this fabled object: for pickles prepared with cloves, ginger and turmeric; for antipasti (dried tomatoes, peppers, eggplant, artichoke hearts etc.) marinated in olive oil with aromatic herbs. A wide variety of fruits and vegetables (gherkins, onions, shallots, cauliflower and lemon for example) can be stored in this stoneware jar. Perfect for soaking them in oil or vinegar. Also ideal for storing ingredients such as dry food stuffs and spices.
