An artisan made mortar and pestle that makes light work out of grinding herbs and spices in the kitchen. Made from single pieces of solid, sustainably harvested olive wood, which is a beautiful dense hardwood that is less susceptible to stains, odours and bacteria.
Dimensions: mortar 12cm diameter, 7.5cm high; pestle 14.5cm long (size may vary slightly due to hand crafted nature)
Material: 100% sustainable olive wood sourced from pruned branches or old non-bearing trees, no glues or lacquers
Care: hand wash and avoid prolonged soaking, not recommended to put in the dishwasher, periodically rub with a light coating of olive oil to preserve the olive wood
